The domain is ever x value of a function and the range is ever y value of a function. some functions limit the domain and range of a function. A parabola limits the range because it decreases then increases. A square root function limits the domain because it starts at a point
I learned that there are a such thing as even and odd functions. The even functions are symmetrical and the odd functions only have origin symmetry. Even functions have the x points that are positive and negative and odd functions have the complete negative of the function. No function families are always negative but for example x2 is almost always even unless shifted. I still wonder if it can ever be even if a function is shifted left or right.
